SUPPORT
Let’s get the
clinic moving.
Email matthew.worner@me.com. Include the device model, the system version, and the steps that led to the problem. Do not send real patient information. This build is for synthetic records.
The iPhone cannot find the Mac
The Mac app has to be open, on the same Wi-Fi as the iPhone. Read the clinic address on the Mac and set Clinic connection on the iPhone to match. Local Network permission must be allowed. A firewall that blocks the Mac will stop check-in even when the address looks right.
Patients use I’m a patient. There is no patient password. GP access needs a new one-use code from the Mac if the last one was already used or has expired.
Check-in did not appear in the queue
The visit is added when the Mac accepts it, not when the iPhone finishes typing. If the confirmation never arrives, the draft stays on that iPhone. Reconnect and send again. A second visit for the same demonstration patient is a new visit, not a replacement of the earlier one, once identity has been confirmed.
Summarise or Ask does nothing
Apple Intelligence has to be on, and its model downloaded, on the Mac that holds the record. The same is true on an iPhone that answers from the day pack. The iOS Simulator cannot run the model. Intake, the queue, and the raw record still work without it.
Summaries appear only after you choose Summarise. Ask appears only after you ask. If the model refuses, type the note. The refusal is not a clinical conclusion.
Recording and transcripts
Allow the microphone when the system asks. Confirm patient agreement, then start. Recording does not begin on its own. Language files may download once; the conversation is not uploaded if that download fails.
Changing the transcript clears the previous draft. Approve the new one if you want it in the record. Audio that was deleted after a successful transcript cannot be brought back. An interrupted recording is kept and labelled as possibly partial.
The Wi-Fi dropped mid-clinic
On the GP iPhone, today’s queue and briefs that were already saved in the day pack still open, with a banner that the Mac is unreachable. An outage note, once you approve it, waits on the iPhone and saves to the Mac at the next refresh. Pending check-ins replay rather than being discarded.
Imported patients
Import the patient CSV and the notes CSV together, from Patient database on the Mac. A bad file fails the whole import, so a half-loaded list is not saved. Search matches a first name, a last name, or a Medicare number. Imported rows stay in that database until you use them; they are not silently mixed into the live queue.
Privacy
Read the privacy details for what stays on the Mac, what the iPhone keeps, and why this build must not be used with real patients. For a tour of each feature, see the guide.
