A little clarity
before the clinic.
These terms cover the SteadyCare demonstration made by Matthew Worner, and this website. They do not limit rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.
What you are using
SteadyCare is a Mac app with an iPhone and iPad companion. It shows a clinic queue, a patient check-in, local notes, and on-device summaries of records already on the machine. There is no charge for this demonstration, no subscription, and no App Store listing yet.
If a later version is offered through Apple, that copy will be licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, and Apple will handle any payment. This page does not replace that agreement.
Not a clinical system
This build is for synthetic demonstration data. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, and not a substitute for a clinician’s own judgment. It does not order tests, prescribe, bill Medicare, or submit a record to My Health Record or any other practice system.
Summaries and answers restate material from the record and can be incomplete or wrong. Review them. Approve a summary yourself before you treat it as part of the note. The raw record remains available.
Do not enter real records
The link between an iPhone and the clinic Mac is not encrypted in this build. Access controls on the demonstration are not a production safeguard. You must not enter real patient identities, Medicare numbers, clinical notes, or recordings of real consults.
Your copies
You are responsible for any file you export and for the practice record you already keep. Importing a CSV makes a copy inside SteadyCare. It does not become the practice system, and deleting it here does not delete it at the source. Restoring or replaying a demonstration fixture replaces what that fixture holds.
Optional pieces
Camera, microphone, speech, and Apple Health access are requested for the features that need them. You can decline and keep using the rest. Speaker separation is an optional third-party model you download; SteadyCare does not operate a service for it. Apple Intelligence depends on your device, system version, language, and whether the model is downloaded.
The website
The pages at this site describe the product. They are not clinical advice. Pictures use a synthetic patient, Paul Smith, so the layout can be shown without a real record.
